~/About me

Welcome to my homepage! My name is (in Chinese) or Meng LU as romanized.

I am a graduate student in Department of Physics at Ohio State University. I got my B.S. degree in physics from Fudan University, Shanghai, China. My physics thesis project at Ohio State University concerns theoretical study of exotic mesons X(3872) and Z(4430) using effective field theory. The Z(4430) is first well-established manifest exotic hadron discovered in history.

I am also an enthusiast of technical computing and Internet culture and technologies, especially novel web technologies and information and data/information engineering.

Since when I was a child, I have been fascinated by fine art and alike forms. My science and technology eduction has given a technological twist to my passion in graphical arts and made me an avid amateur photographer. My favorite sports are 12-minute jogging and Chen-style Taiji.

Some of my favorite quotes:

"We act as though comfort and luxury were the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about." - Albert Einstein
"Knowing is not enough we must apply; Willing is not enough we must do." - Bruce Lee
